Before founding Sonder Tours, I spent years teaching history and leading students across Western Europe, experiences that deepened my belief that travel is one of the most meaningful ways to understand the world and our place within it.

I founded Sonder Tours in 2021 to create the kind of travel I value most: personal, immersive, and rooted in genuine connection. What began with intimate guided tours of Italy has grown to include women-only small-group journeys and full-service travel planning for couples, families, solo travelers, and private groups.

​

Italy continues to hold a special kind of magic for me. I want my travelers to experience not only its celebrated landmarks, but also the people, traditions, food, and everyday moments that give each region its distinctive character. That might mean learning from a local artisan, cooking a family recipe, walking through a city with a historian, or lingering over lunch at a vineyard.

Over the years, I’ve developed trusted relationships with local guides, hoteliers, artisans, and drivers throughout Italy. Together, we create journeys that balance the country’s iconic highlights with memorable experiences travelers may never have discovered on their own.

Every hotel, experience, and detail is selected with care, and support continues throughout the journey. With trusted colleagues based in Italy, our travelers always have someone nearby to call for assistance, a local recommendation, or simply a reassuring voice.
